🟥🟨 FINAL UPDATES FROM A BUSY NIGHT FOR THE J-HAWKS 🟨🟥 ⚽ Girls Soccer’s season comes to an end with a hard-fought 1-0 playoff loss to Waukegan at Guilford HS. The J-Hawks battled all night and left everything on the field, coming up just short in a competitive postseason match. Proud of the fight, resilience, and heart this group showed throughout the season. 🏐 Boys Volleyball battled at home against Harlem after taking Set 1, but the Huskies rallied to win Sets 2 and 3. The J-Hawks showed plenty of energy and competitiveness throughout the night. Now all eyes turn to Thursday night as Jefferson hosts Belvidere North for Boys Volleyball Senior Night. Come out and support the seniors as they take the floor one more time at home! Under the leadership of Head Coach Fernando Mercado and Assistant Coach Trevor Salisbury, the J-Hawks finished 5th place in the NIC-10 Conference — the program’s highest conference finish since 1994.

This achievement reflects the hard work, commitment, and determination shown by our student-athletes and coaching staff throughout the entire season. The growth of this program has been exciting to watch, and this milestone is a major step forward for Jefferson Girls Soccer.

We believe this is only the beginning of an upward trend for the J-Hawks, and the future is bright for the program moving forward.
