Auburn’s fourth-down pass is picked off, but the defender comes down out of bounds. That turns it over on downs, and Jefferson takes over with 27.2 seconds left in the first half, still leading 16-6.

Almonaci scrambles to extend the play but loses the football, and Auburn recovers near the Jefferson 35-yard line with :48 left in the first half. The Knights get a late scoring opportunity, while the J-Hawks still lead 16-6.

Alejandro Almonaci connects with #3 JaJuan Harris through the air for a solid first-down pickup. Jefferson keeps the chains moving late in the second quarter.

Jefferson’s defense did its job again. Auburn’s drive was briefly extended by a roughing-the-passer penalty after the Knights had been backed up to 3rd-and-35, allowing them to move back near midfield. The J-Hawks responded by forcing 4th-and-10, and Auburn punted it away. The punt rolled dead at the Jefferson 17-yard line, where the J-Hawks take over with 3:33 left in the first half, leading 16-6.

Leslie Thomas punches it in from 12 yards out for the touchdown, and the extra point is good! Jefferson 16, Auburn 6 | 5:43 left in the 2nd quarter 🟥🟨

Jefferson’s defense comes up big again and forces another Auburn punt with 10:33 left in the second quarter. The J-Hawks take over with excellent field position at the Auburn 37-yard line, leading 9-6. 🟥🟨

Turner breaks loose for a 30-yard touchdown run, but a holding penalty brings it back. Jefferson can’t recover from the setback and will punt it away. J-Hawks still lead 9-6.

Jefferson’s punt is downed at the 1-yard line, but a penalty on Auburn changes everything — automatic first down, J-Hawks! Jefferson keeps the drive alive with a fresh set of downs deep in Auburn territory.

#23 Leslie Thomas takes the kickoff 70 yards to the house, but the return is erased by a holding penalty. Jefferson will take over near midfield, still leading 9-6.
