🏐 Jefferson Volleyball Recap from Freeport 🏐 The J-Hawks made the long road trip to Freeport tonight for a full night of NIC-10 volleyball. ✅ Freshman: Jefferson started strong, taking care of business in straight sets. ❌ JV: Freeport answered back, sweeping the Hawks in two. ❌ Varsity: The nightcap went the distance, but the Pretzels came out on top in three sets. A hard-fought effort across all levels, with plenty of positives to build on as the season moves forward. The Jefferson J-Hawks are excited to share that Coach Fernando Mercado, now in his 6th season as Boys Head Coach and a longtime assistant in our Girls program, has been named the new Head Girls Soccer Coach this spring! ⚽

Coach Mercado’s leadership and passion for J-Hawk soccer will now impact both programs, and we can’t wait to see our athletes continue to thrive under his direction.

The J-Hawks force a punt to start the half, but the kick glances off a Jefferson blocker. East pounces on the loose ball and takes over at the Jefferson 27.
